Rodeway Inn Leadville

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice in the past month and it’s been a great experience each time. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable, sheets are soft, plenty of hot water, good water pressure in the shower, and the fact that there is breakfast at this price is amazing! The rooms are a little dated, but this is a wonderful deal. I saw other reviews about difficulty using the key cards, but I had no issue.

If youre a picky person this may not be the place for you. If you're an adventurer, sportsman, or traveler just looking for a place to shower and sleep. This is the place. The water is hot, rooms are clean, and staff are courteous.

most of these reviews are not true, the doors had a deadlock and a chain lock to secure, the cards worked. staff was very accommodating, gave us extra pillows and did a great job cleaning up our room. water heater needs a little work but other than that our stay here was awesome :) free breakfast was very nice too! started each day out with some cereal :p ac worked great and we were nice and warm the whole time while here! would come back for sure! they also refunded us a day that we thought we were gonna be staying but didn't end up doing so! awesome experience for us

While this hotel is definitely dated it has its perks, I can not say enough about the warm welcome we received after becoming stranded travelers. It was a room and the Asst. General Manager working the desk found us the absolute lowest rate. She tracked down some hot chocolate for our teenage boys who were wet and cold. She let us know what restaurant would deliver food to our hotel. The shower was so warm and hot. You get what you pay for - but this time it was above board. A warm reception with great hospitality made the day that was not going well better. They have books and games in the lobby you can borrow to pass the time. The breakfast was good. Nothing I can complain about here. I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay from the moment I arrived. The lobby was bright and welcoming, and the room was spotless. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The hotel also offers great facilities like a pool and a fitness center. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Stayed here Th-Sun for the Leadville 100 trail race. This is an average motel, it’s old and not updated etc. But for purposes of the race it was 10/10 for convenience, location, and met the basic needs of providing us a bed and room given we weren’t even in the room for 30+ hours of our weekend. Staff were helpful. Check-in was quick on Thursday but we saw on Friday at 3pm the lobby was jam packed with guests all trying to check in at once - perhaps extra staffing for these times would be helpful.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. It's cool there are still budget hotels in Colorado like this one. I wish they had paper dishes instead of Styrofoam. There is no hot water for tea in the breakfast area. Good spot, just bring your own dishes.

Good enough. Perfect location to get to and from cooper mt., only complaint is how thin the walls are we had a very hard time getting to sleep with noises from above and in the hallway, totally recommend noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs for light sleepers. Breakfast options are very limited we opted for breakfast in downtown Leadville up the road. All and all we'd still stay again for location convenience. One more thing for the owners please get the parking lot lines repainted no one can park worth a damn lol
